Scorched Makeup Look {Cruelty-free}

Fire-y, scorching looks have been the ones I have been constantly creating recently. Maybe it’s my mood, who knows. However, when you create bold, statement makeup you gain a lot of empowerment and you feel like nothing can stop you {maybe that’s just me though}. Although I am still very much perfecting my makeup, I am loving creating, practising more challenging looks. {you can check out my more girly gold nude look here}

This look was surprisingly very simple {typical me} and consists of no more than four shades {keeping it simple for you guys….}. Anyway enough rambling from me, let’s get into it.

look at this beauty

The palette I use for this look is the Naked ‘Heat’ palette and I know I am about 10 years late to the hype of this palette, it is still a beautiful and very versatile one. The palette itself is the same formula as the other Naked palettes, I find that this palette has quite a lot of fall out, particularly on the matte shades. However, I love the pigmentation in general for this palette, plus the shade range is just pure ~lush~. So let’s get into this look….

safe to say I was ‘feelin’ myself in this photo

Step One

Firstly, I primed my eyes and used the shade “ounce” all over my lid. This can be done messily as it just provides a base for the actual eye look!

Step Two

Then I added the shade “chaser” just above my crease. I added this shade extremely generously, so go mad with this one!

Step Three

Then I mixed the shades “sauced” and “low blow” and gradually added those into my crease. Both these shades are very pigmented, so I found it easier to use a little bit of the product at a time. This made it easier for me to blend it out!

Step Four

Then use the shade “cayenne” and just add that to the outer corner of your lid and a little of your crease! This is just so you can deepen the look and make it more dramatic.

Step Five

Finally, get the shade “scorched” and use your finger to apply on your lid! You can also wet a brush for a more pigmented look!

And that’s it, pair with an equally bold lip colour and BAM you’re done. Go out and show the world what you’re made of!

Hopefully, you get to try out this look and if you do tell me what you think!
